We are an academic and research community driven to develop big ideas and tackle challenging problems. Our technology supports these efforts.
Technology capabilities include a high-speed campus network infrastructure with extensive wireless access, innovative learning and teaching spaces, digital media capabilities to enhance instruction, high-performance computing for research and self-service administrative systems.
Tools for Learning and Collaboration
Students use the web and a portfolio of mobile applications to register for classes, communicate with faculty and colleagues, and administer their campus activities. Many faculty incorporate active learning with flexible technology, often improving student learning and participation.

Computing on Campus
Wireless networking throughout the residential areas, gathering spaces and many classrooms gives students flexible access to academic materials, software, printing services and entertainment. Computing labs in residential areas and classroom buildings provide additional computing resources.
Computing centers on the Danforth and Medical campuses provide access to virtual computing environments, cloud computing services and high-performance computing clusters for faculty. A secure, high-availability, high-speed data network interconnects all campuses and links the university with Internet and National Lambda Rail research networks. The many classrooms equipped with multimedia technology and network connectivity provide a wide range of options for teaching.
