Kate M. Gregg
Kate M. Gregg graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1959 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Both her father and grandfather were also alumni. A native of St. Louis, Gregg was an ardent supporter of the arts and gave generously of her time to local cultural institutions. She also volunteered enthusiastically on campus as a long-time member of the Washington University Alumni Association, the Women’s Society and various Arts & Sciences alumni committees.
Gregg was particularly active in the Eliot Society and helped plan many of the society’s events. She was a member of the Arts & Sciences Scholarship Committee and was much involved in organizing the gala to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Edison Theatre. Gregg died in 1998.
